Reality?

In true IM (instant message) format, mistakes and all… a conversation:

My Friend: dude i just had an awesome thought

The Stereo: what’s that? -)

The Stereo: did you read my mind? lol

My Friend: if scientists are right about there being an infinite number of universes with every thinkable and unthinkable reality occurring that means that every story and every movie that we have ever just come up with has actually happened.

The Stereo: well yeah man lol, did you see the BBC Parallel Universes documentary?

The Stereo: I have said that our reality is someplace else’s dream

The Stereo: Lord of the Rings happened in Tolkien’s head…

The Stereo: in in their world… they dreamnt too

The Stereo: of this world, of others

My Friend: star wars

The Stereo: yup

The Stereo: and, also… don’t forget anti-matter and the laws of Newton (for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction) are complimentary to that

The Stereo: so, while reality does exist

The Stereo: it also does not

The Stereo: and also does -)

The Stereo: so that’s absolutely correct

The Stereo: and completely wrong

The Stereo: lol

The Stereo: welcome to quantum physics lol

My Friend: yeah

My Friend: it makes so much more sense when you’re tore up

The Stereo: of course, lol

The Stereo: and think about this

The Stereo: since that’s true….

The Stereo: there is also the reality…

The Stereo: where that ISN’T true

The Stereo: makes you wonder if this one is it or not

The Stereo: lol

My Friend: dude you’re really messing with me now

The Stereo: lol

The Stereo: I think a lot man

My Friend: ugh see usually when like this everyone i hang out with can’t understand

My Friend: they just give me blank looks and wanna play Worms

The Stereo: lol there’s a time for everything

The Stereo: have you read Atlas Shrugged?

The Stereo: it’s about Objectivism

The Stereo: (Ayn Rand)

My Friend: so somewhere in some reality the character i play in wow have actually lived, and mysteriously disappears when i sign off

The Stereo: yup

The Stereo: and somewhere… that doesn’t happen

My Friend: so that means technically we are controlling other universes

The Stereo: and this one

The Stereo: just hard to see past all the confusion and distractions

My Friend: that’s a lot of power, I’d better take good care of my characters then

The Stereo: lol

The Stereo: take care of the one here -)

My Friend: but somebody else is playing me

My Friend: i can’t control what i’m doing

The Stereo: and there’s a reality where…

The Stereo: you control you

My Friend: $#%! you’re right

The Stereo: is this it?

The Stereo: lol

The Stereo: -)

The Stereo: they are all the same, reality is…

The Stereo: and that’s all

My Friend: this is the best conversation ever

The Stereo: -)

My Friend: epic thread man…epic thread

The Stereo: lol I’ll post it on Life In Stereo

The Stereo: with replaced screen names

My Friend: that’d be awesome

The Stereo: will do -)

The Stereo: it’s heavy man

The Stereo: and hard

My Friend: so anyway where were we?

The Stereo: well, you were saying you didn’t control you

The Stereo: but, what if this is my reality?

My Friend: oh yeah

The Stereo: and you just think you’re real

The Stereo: and vice-versa

My Friend: yeah i thought of that

My Friend: like i’m the only thing thats real and this universe is just in my mind

My Friend: <—-god

The Stereo: yup

The Stereo: welcome to Buddhism

The Stereo: lol

The Stereo: why do you think they are happy meditating?

My Friend: dude i am so having a spiritual moment right now

The Stereo: we see them as poor and empty

The Stereo: they see so much more

The Stereo: because they rid themselves of all distraction

The Stereo: get rid of sounds, sights, worries, cares

The Stereo: and use their other senses

The Stereo: It’s a matter of focus of energy

The Stereo: you know, e=mc^2

The Stereo: so, all matter = e/c^2

The Stereo: or…

The Stereo: all matter, all stuff and being is made up of energy divided by the speed of light squared

The Stereo: and if the speed of light is the fastest thing…

My Friend: so matter is just slow light?

The Stereo: multiplied by itself….

The Stereo: it’s infinity

The Stereo: right, matter is a slow vibration of energy

The Stereo: hanged by “light”

The Stereo: which is a force to me

My Friend: so that makes me wonder why can’t we change this reality

The Stereo: it’s all a vibration, a frequency

The Stereo: you can

My Friend: like star wars force

The Stereo: the problem is here….

The Stereo: check this out

The Stereo: In this reality…

The Stereo: you do not believe that you can change it

The Stereo: because you’re used to it being the same

The Stereo: however, I may have already changed my reailty

The Stereo: and what you experience here is the residual effect of your constant memory of me

The Stereo: and part of what you need to move on

The Stereo: while I’m already there

The Stereo: but it’s your lack of faith in and yourself

The Stereo: that prevents you from seeing the world changed

The Stereo: doubt

The Stereo: people base things on observations and facts

The Stereo: since you don’t see me flying around, you assume it’s because I can’t fly

The Stereo: when it’s really that you don’t believe that I can

My Friend: so if i could focus enough to get rid of any doubt that i could just will something to change or move then it would happen

The Stereo: right

The Stereo: buddhism -)

The Stereo: like a tree falls in a forest, does it make a sound?

The Stereo: well, it creates vibrations

The Stereo: but something alive has to interpret those AS sounds

The Stereo: so, you have to learn to interpret the vibrations

My Friend: ooooohhhh

The Stereo: physics, old adages, religion

The Stereo: all the same thing man

The Stereo: just black and white, yin and yang

The Stereo: it’s hard

The Stereo: it’s scary as hell to move on

My Friend: what do you mean?

The Stereo: well

The Stereo: You will wake up tomorrow

The Stereo: and take a step and land on the ground

The Stereo: and you will see me struggle

The Stereo: thinking I’m making mistakes

The Stereo: but I’m not

The Stereo: you just aren’t believing

The Stereo: you are misinterpreting all the vibrations

The Stereo: so your reality looks messed up

The Stereo: and you will give up

The Stereo: and stop believing

The Stereo: won’t you? -)

My Friend: stop believing what that what i’m thinking is true?

The Stereo: yup

The Stereo: that you can change reality

The Stereo: that it’s just… an illusion

My Friend: but it’s not

The Stereo: no?

My Friend: and it is

The Stereo: e=mc2 says so

The Stereo: logic confounds people

The Stereo: because of parallel universes… all possibilities exist

The Stereo: and none

The Stereo: but, circular logic prevails….

The Stereo: all is possible, it’s all real… you’re just not looking in the right place

The Stereo: our deductions of facts and observations that we call science are assumptions

The Stereo: 3 dimensions, 5 senses and time

The Stereo: those are the rules

The Stereo: but, parallel universe theory RELIES on a fundamental concept

The Stereo: which is…. all realities are connected

The Stereo: whether or not they share dimensions

The Stereo: super gravity and string theory finally combined into M-theory

The Stereo: (m stands for either Magic, Membrain, Muddy, etc…)

The Stereo: whatever…. but

The Stereo: it’s that there’s one dimension that they all connect to

The Stereo: and if you can hop into it… you can go anywhere you want

The Stereo: “Buy the ticket, take the ride”

The Stereo: lol

My Friend: how do you do that though

The Stereo: there are a few ways

The Stereo: being a mysic

The Stereo: being insane (think Van Gogh)

The Stereo: being a child….

The Stereo: or drugs

The Stereo: religious ecstacy, sainthood for example as well

The Stereo: if you believe in religion, it’s real

The Stereo: how messed up is that -)

The Stereo: that’s why the greatest trick the devil ever pulled was making the world believed he didn’t exist

My Friend: that’s so deep

The Stereo: I try

The Stereo: haha

My Friend: why can’t everyone understand this

The Stereo: lack of education

The Stereo: self-consumption

My Friend: but if we believe that they can then won’t they

The Stereo: like I said, it’s not me -)

The Stereo: do you believe they can?

The Stereo: cause that’s what matters…

My Friend: i believe everyone can

The Stereo: do you?

The Stereo: or do you WANT to believe that they can?

The Stereo: big difference

The Stereo: faith is a leap

The Stereo: and don’t put it out of context

The Stereo: and try to define or suffocate it with a label

The Stereo: or an opinion of religion

The Stereo: faith is about believing… whatever it is you want to believe

The Stereo: or in whoever you want to believe in

The Stereo: wanting faith and having it are very contrasted and apparent characteristics of people

The Stereo: and to quote:

The Stereo: … truely to enjoy bodily warmth, some small part of you must be cold, for there is no quality in this world that is not what it is merely by contrast. Nothing exists in itself. If you flatter yourself that you are all over comfortable, and have been so a long time, then you cannot be said to be comfortable any more.

Moby-Dick, Ch. 11

My Friend: that was more moving than anything i’ve read in the bible

The Stereo: then re-read the Bible

The Stereo: -)

My Friend: that was one smart mother son-of-a!

The Stereo: well, go back years to the yin yang

The Stereo: if it were all black… you’d see nothing

The Stereo: and if it were all white…

The Stereo: nothing

The Stereo: only when both are present do you see art, pattern, math, physics, religion, change, a symbol… anything at all

The Stereo: borrowed concept, re-packaged with new words

The Stereo: for the updated languages of the world

The Stereo: Welcome to reality, have a nice day! lol
